There’s been no fresh snow in Zermatt for the past few days and the groomed slopes are hard packed, whilst off piste the avalanche danger is up to level 3 – “considerable.”
But apart from strong winds at times slope conditions are mostly good and the snow is certainly deep with 155cm (over five feet) lying at resort level and more than double that volume up on the higher slopes.
The early bird catches the FIRST TRACKS ⛷☀️?

So Easter and later spring skiing are all looking good at this year-round ski resort.
The wee ahead looks mostly dry, often sunny and with temperatures in the -2 to -15 range in resort, obviously colder higher up.
