It’s been a great sunny weekend in Zermatt but the snow is about to make a return for the coming 48 hours, with about 10cm more forecast by Wednesday.
Conditions are generally good at the year-round ski centre with base depths at 140cm (nearly five feet) in the village and right up at 365cm (over 12 feet) at the top to the slopes.

About 85% of the terrain is open 305 of 360km and 42 of the 52 lifts are reported to be operational.
