Year-round ski area Zermatt is in great shape after heavy snow at the start of this week.
The lift company reports 60cm (two feet) of snow fell up on the glacier and that the snow fell all the way down to the village, where the snow depth is 5cm.

Snow depth is 60cm on the glacier and there are 18km of runs open served by six lifts.
That’s one of the biggest ski areas open in the world at present.
