Other resorts reporting big snowfalls of 90cm (three feet) or more have included Andermatt, Davos, Leysin, Villars, Grindelwald and Champery.
Champery in the Portes du Soleil and Villars had had rather challenging starts to the winter with limited cover so this latest snowfall has, rather belatedly, really transformed conditions – although they had been improving for some time.

Most Swiss areas now have 30-60cm in resort and 1.5-2.5m up top so good cover for the remainder of the season. Zermatt had 60cm of fresh snow up top and now has a 25-200cm base after reporting little snow left in resort previously.
