Vail Resorts, the world’s largest ski resort operator running more than 40 ski centres in the US, Canada, Switzerland and Australia, has announced the opening dates for some of their leading international destinations for the upcoming 24-25 ski season.
All being well, Keystone in Colorado, one of the world’s highest ski areas, will kick off the season in about two months’ in mid-October, soi long as it has been cold enough for long enough by then for snowmakers to produce enough snow with any early natural snowfalls helping too.
Then nearby Breckenridge is scheduled to open November 8th, Vail Mountain itself on the 15th and then Whistler Blackcomb (British Columbia), Heavenly (CA), Northstar (CA – pictured below), Park City Mountain (UT) all on the 22nd.
November 27 will see Beaver Creek (CO) and Crested Butte (CO) opening then December 6th Kirkwood (CA) and Stevens Pass (WA).
New this winter, guests at Vail Mountain, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge and Keystone in Colorado can access My Epic Assistant in the My Epic app which, the company says, “couples the power of AI with resort experts, offering a convenient tool to ask questions anytime, anywhere about the resorts.” Vail Resorts plans to expand My Epic Assistant to additional resorts in future seasons.
