This winter, it seems our screens might be the closest we can get to the slopes, so we were stoked to hear that Faction’s third and final episode of the 20-21 season, Utah to BC, dropped this week.
It’s an epic road trip, as Tim McChesney, Duncan Adams, Blake Wilson and Alex Hall hit the open road from Utah to BC, chasing powder and good times. Four skiers, one camera and 1600 miles of North American wilderness.
The team head way out back on sleds and on skis, discovering pow-laden forests, steep spines and velvety pillows; all the right ingredients for the ultimate backcountry adventure.
The athletes in this episode ride Faction’s Prodigy Series — durable and playful all-mountain twin-tip skis that are built for progression. The Prodigy’s poplar wood core is soft and poppy enough to butter slushy rollers while maintaining enough stiffness underfoot to stomp big landings time after time. The extra thick 2.5mm edges provide added durability when grinding rails and crossing skis for different grabs, and the directional shape makes them a dream to ski forwards or switch.
These are serious do-it-all skis that can be enjoyed by anyone, from beginner skiers to seasoned pros; anywhere, from piste to park; anytime, from deep storm days to bluebird spring laps.
