Torquay Alpine Ski Club, ideally located in the English Riviera, is a convenient and inexpensive place to learn the basics of skiing or snowboarding, or to improve and develop your skiing skills.
The slope surface is Dendix, often referred to as the realistic plastic slope surface. It’s made up of thousands of bristles arranged in a diamond shape to reduce friction and is seen by many enthusiasts as the nearest thing to snow.
Torquay Alpine Ski Club offers ski lessons, snowboarding lessons, ringos (aka snow tubing), school instruction, coffee mornings, birthday parties and race training. Courses and lessons all take place with experienced instructors and coaches to suit all abilities and ages.
