Collect log books from the tourist office and set off on your adventure, then return to the tourist office to collect your treasure!

Try out a Yooner Sledge
These light and incredibly user-friendly sledges will have adults and kids carving like pros in minutes! In Région Dents du Midi, when the slopes are open for night skiing, families can enjoy an hour and a half of Yooner sledging fun with an instructor, then sit down for a delicious cheese fondue.

Explore the Snow Gardens
Beginners to the slopes will be in for a treat with the “snow gardens” of Valais, snow-covered playgrounds which give new skiers the best possible conditions for which to enjoy their first foray onto the slopes. Exciting snowtubing runs and snowtube carousels join experienced instructors, secure beginner lifts and gentle slopes, perfect for children.

Meet the Mountain Wildlife
Les Marécottes Wildlife Park is a fantastic place to spend an afternoon off the slopes, learning more about those who share this mountain paradise with us. You can observe beautiful Alpine wildlife in their natural settings, with no need to worry about animals being absent due to hibernation – only two of the park’s 20 residents sleep through the winter!

There’s no such thing as a free ski day, right? Wrong! In Valais’ Aletsch Arena, children and teenagers can ski for free each Saturday! Youngsters up to the age of 20 can enjoy a free one-day ski pass, with this offer available every Saturday throughout the entire winter, as well as a 30% discount on public transport (T&Cs available online).

In Champoussin, Région Dents du Midi, the “Offre Poussin” gives all your baby chicks (under five) free ski rentals, free lunches and special offers in hotels with a paying adult.
Plus, this spring, kids under 12 ski for free in the Portes du Soleil! From 4 April onwards, you can get a free child’s lift pass with the purchase of a five-day-or-more adult lift pass!
