One ski destination that British skiers have always had a great interest in skiing in Scotland, but criminally few of us have actually skied there ourselves. But just how plausible an alternative is this to the Alps?
The Slopes
While you definitely shouldn’t be expecting 2000 metre peaks, skiing in Scotland has its own unique draw, with a lot of winter activities and some beautiful landscapes. It has five distinct mountain centres; Cairngorm, Glencoe, Glenshee, Nevis Range and the Lecht, each with its own distinct personality.
