The Swiss 2017-18 ski season is getting bigger and better as more ski resorts open and more snow falls.
Resorts opening for the first time this season include Arosa and Wengen. Others like Andermatt, Verbier and Laax which opened last weekend are open again for the weekend.

Most Swiss resorts saw big snowfalls at the start of the week with some higher areas reporting up to 60cm (two feet) of fresh snow, leading to great conditions on the slopes.
Base depths are currently around the metre mark at most open Swiss ski areas with Engelberg posting the deepest base at 2m.
Zermatt has doubled its open terrain this week to 34km and has one of the biggest open ski areas in the country.
