Next week, Courchevel will host the Summer Ski Jumping World Cup at the Olympic Ski Jump in Courchevel Le Praz. Taking place over the 10th and 11th of August, the event will also include a spectacular air show.
The women take centre stage in Courchevel on the 10th of August when they will be jumping on the large hill for the first time in the individual competition. The men’s competition is on Saturday the 11th of August, where aged just 17, local boy Jonathan Learoyd will be jumping on home ground.
New this year, the French National Air Display Team, the Rafale fighter plane and the French Airforce Aerobatics Team (EVAA) will be coming to Courchevel, putting on an amazing air display never seen before in the mountains.
Visitors will enjoy concerts and other events throughout the two days. Concert performances on Saturday the 11th of August will be followed by a closing firework display at 10.15 p.m.

By shuttle: stop in the village of Courchevel Le Praz – 300 m to the jump zone.
By road: in Courchevel Le Praz, take the road to Courchevel La Tania – the jump zone is 300 m on the left.
