It has finally quietened down over the past week in Western North America after the snowiest month in their history for many resorts.
The most snow in the past week has actually been in the East of the country, with resorts in Vermont, including Stowe and Sugarbush, reporting 30-40cm of fresh snow in the last few days.
Pretty fun out there today! Nice hustle, February.

North of the border Mont Ste Anne in Quebec, also on the East, has the country’s deepest snow at 3.25m/11 feet.
It looks like Gretchen Bleiler and Torah Bright love the #highlandbowl just as much as we do!

Mammoth Mountain (below) reported 6.5m (22 feet) of snowfall in January and now has a 7.6m base on upper slopes, the deepest in the world by some distance. It has already announced plans to open on American Independence Day – July 4th, 2017.
But the lull in snowfall for the past week or so in the West looks set to end in the next few days with another huge snowstorm likely to bring up to a metre of new snow from California to BC, possibly taking Mammoth towards an unprecedented 8m snow depth!
