Solos ski holidays are on the rise this winter with more companies offering holidays for skiers and boarders who aren’t necessarily single, but want to go on holiday alone, perhaps as partners or friends don’t love snow holidays quite as much as they do!
Now Skiworld is breaking new ground in the mature travel market with the launch of an exclusive Over-50s Solos Ski Week in St Anton, Austria, starting February 2025.
“This innovative holiday concept combines the freedom of solo travel with the comfort of luxury accommodation and like-minded company,” a company spokesperson said.
Set in the prestigious Arlberg region, home to famous resorts like St Anton and Lech as well as 305km of pristine pistes, the week-long adventure is based at the elegant Chalet Monte Vera (below), where solo travelers can enjoy their own private en-suite room complete with balcony views. The chalet’s Roman spa-inspired wellness area, featuring a sanarium and infrared room, offers the perfect après-ski relaxation.
