arl.rock Centre

A sports centre complete with a climbing wall, bowling alley and trampolines probably isn’t the first thing you’d expect to see in a ski resort, but St. Anton doesn’t do things by halves! The arl.rock centre is a great place for groups to head for some extra entertainment whatever the weather, with 1000 m2 of climbing area, which includes 125 m2 of bouldering wall, and around 100 different climbing routes. Youngsters will also enjoy the large 9-pin bowling alley, where you’ll often find groups of adults trying their hand at the pool tables and dart boards too.

Arlberg Wellcom

Is there anything better than a swim and a sauna after a day on the slopes?! Relaxing in a heated pool overlooking the dramatic snowy mountainscapes? We didn’t think so…

The Arlberg Wellcom offers the perfect spot to do just this, with a huge range of spa facilities and treatments to explore. The vast pool area offers a heated outdoor lap pool and an indoor jet-powered spa pool, as well as a paddling pool, wide waterslide and wet play area for younger visitors.

Or, you can truly treat your tired legs with the spa experiences. There’s not only a classic dry heat sauna, but also a sanarium, steam room, and infrared sauna. However, our personal favourite has got to be the Kelo Sauna with spectacular mountain views at 95 degrees Celsius!

Tobogganing

A tried and tested family favourite, you can’t go wrong with an exhilarating toboggan ride on a crisp mountain evening! In St. Anton’s Gampen area, you can find an impressive 4 km natural toboggan run, with the start easily reached at the top of the Nasserein gondola. This highly entertaining route takes about 15 minutes to descend 500 metres down into the valley and is open daily (weather permitting) from 12 noon to 4.15 pm. The run is suitable for beginners and families as the run is secured with snow bands on the side.

On Tuesday and Thursday evenings, you can also experience the run from 7.30pm – 9.30pm. We’d recommend stopping off at the cosy Rodelalm restaurant for a post-toboggan refreshment on Thursdays, when walkers can also borrow a toboggan here for the descent back to the town.
