For Foodies

Back to St. Anton am Arlberg

For more refined entertainment, the diversity of exceptional restaurants and bars serve authentic local delicacies and exceptional international cuisine; the burgers at Galzig Bistrobar are by all accounts phenomenal.

Guests wanting that extra special treat can dine at the Museum Restaurant and Café or, for incredible views, jump on the Galzigbahn gondola from the resort centre, and be whisked up the mountain to the Verwallstube – one of the highest located gourmet restaurants in Europe.

Every Thursday evening, from 7 pm, the Verwallstube offers a special Candlelight Dinner accompanied by romantic piano music.

On the slopes, a stop at the Hospizalm in neighbouring St. Christoph is a must-do in the area. This cosy slopeside spot claims to have Austria’s best wine cellar and was the place where, on January 3rd 1901, the Arlberg Ski club was founded. Plus, a popular feature with adults and children alike is the slide down to the bathrooms, so you don’t have to navigate stairs in your ski boots!
