In Resort

Arlberg Mountain Railways: There are clear rules defined for the operation of cable cars, lifts and mountain restaurants. You can find all the rules that apply in each case on arlbergerbergbahnen.com, skiarlberg.at and WKO, as well as on info pillars and signs.

Accommodation, Restaurants and Night Clubs: Restaurants, bars, hotels, sports and cultural institutions in Austria are open, subject to strict rules and clear safety concepts. Entry requirements: Tested negative, vaccinated, or recovered from a recent infection.

Public Transport: In addition to hygiene measures and the mandatory wearing of a mouth and nose protector, other regulations have been introduced, especially in the areas around bus stops and during travel. E.g. the maximum number of passengers on village buses is now greatly reduced, but if necessary frequency and number of village buses in service will be increased to try and limit the inconvenience to you.

Covid-19 Testing in St. Anton

Guests are offered regular, fast and uncomplicated tests in many local tourist establishments.

The easiest, free on-site option is to collect the self-test kit and the relevant information from your hosts. These unsupervised tests are valid for 24 hours and the result must be uploaded  – using a QR code – on the State of Tyrol’s website. Information can be found at tirol.gv.at.

In addition, larger (authorized) establishments offer a free quick test under supervision, which is valid for 24 hours. A link to download the testing result will be sent to your mobile device after approx. 15 minutes. Please ask your host whether these test options are offered.

Antigen and PCR tests are also offered by local doctors and the pharmacy. The tests at doctors and pharmacies are subject to charge.

There is also the option of performing a free antigen test on the official Covid-19 Testing roads of the State of Tyrol.
