It has been a very snowy weekend in Solden and it’s looking like it’s going to stay snowy too with 40cm more snow forecast by the end of tomorrow (Monday 22nd) to give a total of more than a metre of snow in 72 hours.

All the snow has caused some logistical problems and slope closures as the centre has struggled to cope with the volumes coming down. But the weather is supposed to clear but stay cold from Tuesday, when conditions should be epic.
Current base s 30cm in resort, 346cm (over 11 feet) up on the glaciers with 60cm (two feet) of snow in the past 24 hours. Only about a third of terrain has been open in the past few days due to all the snow but that should expand soon.
