Slovakia’s leading ski area of Jasna has announced it will close down for two weeks.
“Due to preventive measures against the spread of COVID-19 virus, we are closing the Jasna ski resort from Friday, March 13, 2020 until 26th March 2020,” a resort statement reads.
Earlier Slovakia announced it was closing its borders to international visitors.
The Czech Republic has announced it is closing its borders to people from more than a dozen countries, including the UK.
“Thank you for your understanding and we appreciate your support. Take care of yourself,” the statement from Jasna concludes.
