A 97 year old skier has decided he has made his last run after 90 years on the slopes.
Herb Oedel said his final run at Bradford ski area in Massachusetts on Wednesday was his last.
Several skiers have continued on the slopes past age 100, but its not known if any of them started as young as Mr Oedel in the early 1930s.
Mr Oedel posed for a picture with his 100-year-old wife Ginny after completing his final run.
He had skied at Bradford ski area for many years, a resort spokesperson commented, “Congratulations, Herb. It has been a great run!”
