It has been a mixture of sunshine and clouds over Austrian slopes over the past week.
Temperatures did dip very low, in common with the rest of Europe, earlier in the week, but now its warming up and there’s a chance of some snow over the weekend.

Most Austrian ski areas are in great shape as we enter March and meteorological springtime, with big bases built earlier in the winter – some glacier areas reporting the snow lying nearly 6 metres/20 feet deep.
In fact most Austrian areas have snow lying at least 2m deep on upper runs and some non-glacier resorts like St Anton, where there’s still two months of the season left, report the snow at 4.4m deep on upper runs.
