Ski Show Ticket Prices More than Double

The adult admission price to the Telegraph London Ski Show this autumn has been announced and will be more than double the 2014 price – up from £12 last year to £25 this.

The London show, which once stretched over nearly a fortnight in October has got progressively shorter and later in the year each autumn and this year takes place over four days including the first weekend in November at a new venue in Battersea.

Advance purchase tickets are currently available at a discounted rate of £20.  Usually large numbers of tickets are given away free by various ski publications and retailers too, it is unclear whether this will happen again this year.

The price hike appears to be connected to a move the make the show in to more of an event with headline attractions including members of the Altitude Comedy Festival in Meribel and an Alpine themed village promised.

At the same time Londoners have a second high profile snowsports event to consider attending with the return of a rebooted Freeze event which will for the first time include FIS sanctioned World Cup snowsports completion with the world’s best snowsports athletes competing on a specially constructed snow jump.

Taking place a week after the Ski Show on Saturday November 14th at the Olympic Park, Freeze is being billed as the UK’s biggest ever snowsports event and has ‘early bird’ adult tickets priced at £40.
