The family-run award-winning independent tour operator Ski Olympic has won the ‘best small ski operator’ award for the third year running in the in the British Travel Awards, which claims a far bigger public vote than any other awards programme.
“It was another record breaking year for British Travel Awards’ consumer voting, with more than one and a quarter million votes cast to determine the winners,” said the Awards’ chief executive Lorraine Barnes Burton, who added, “All award winners are to be congratulated for getting the most votes in their categories, no mean feat as the voting public has become increasingly discerning and expects the best customer service.”
Ski Olympic organises fully-catered holidays in chalets it operates itself in Val d’Isere, Courchevel, Vallandry Les Arcs, La Plagne, Reberty Les Menuires, La Rosiere and Meribel.
“We were thrilled to have been awarded once again “Best Winter Ski Holiday Company” for the third year running. It makes all our efforts and commitment to offering excellent ski holidays so worthwhile to receive such an accolade of this proportion,” said Director Jarrod Osborne.
Many of the chalets have been built especially for Ski Olympic, which has decades of experience operating in all of the resorts. The properties range in size from charming chocolate-box chalets for eight guests right up to lively larger chalet hotels for up to 74 people (skiolympic.com).
