Ski Lifts, who have built a reputation for transferring skiers from their destination airport to their ski resort accommodation (and back), have added a new service for the coming winter, transferring skiers from their homes to their UK departure airport (and back).
“If you are travelling to the Alps from London City, Heathrow, Gatwick, Stansted, Luton or Southend Airports we can now offer our transfer service to you, to get between your home and these airports at either end of your holiday,” said a company spokesperson.
You can book these transfers in the normal way through the company’s website and the service is exactly the same as they provide in the Alps – you get an instant confirmation of your booking by email, you receive an SMS and email the day before travel confirming your pick up time and on your return to the airport in the UK, your driver will be waiting for you in the arrivals hall, holding a sign with your name on it and is ready to take you straight home.
Currently Ski Lifts are offering two transfer types to these airports. The first is a Private Transfer in an 8-seater minibus and the second is an Executive Transfer in a Mercedes Viano or similar.
When making a booking for your transfer to the Alps, you can simply choose to add more legs on to the booking, meaning you can also add these London airport transfers in to the same booking, meaning everything is confirmed in one go.
“If you can’t find a destination that you need please let us know and we will do our best to secure you a quote and hopefully we will soon be able to offer this same service to other airports throughout the UK as well,” the Ski Lifts spokesperson added.
