Are you a ski instructor looking for work next autumn and winter?
One of my favourite ski schools, the Verbier based Warren Smith Ski Academy, is looking to recruit two new instructors thanks to increased demand for its five-day and GAP ski instructor courses.
I’ve worked closely with Warren for some 20 years, commissioning him to provide technique tips for now defunct Daily Mail Ski and Snowboard Magazine and more recently ski skills videos here at InTheSnow.
Warren’s boot camp approach has transformed the skills of thousands of skiers since the Academy was founded 25 years ago and won him a celebrity clientele including James Blunt, Lawrence Dallaglio and – rumour has it – Princes William and Harry.
Most importantly he won over the toughest critics of all – my wife and two young children (pictured below). Over a long weekend during summer in Cervinia a few years back we had private lessons with the great man himself and his number two Rob Stanford (pictured in green). Without question they supercharged the Druce family’s ski skills.
