A brand new ski holiday concept has been created by the two Swiss ski resorts of Laax and Davos. This week long ski trip, incorporates a private British Airways charter flight from London City to the small alpine airport of Altenrhein, followed by 7 nights in the two resorts, accommodation, 7 day ski passes and transfers for £1,550pp.
‘The Ski Getaway. Reinvented’ promises to get skiers to the slopes with no airport queues or lengthy transfers and its creators say that after jumping onboard a BA operated 32-seater jet at London City Airport they could be on the slopes just under 2.5 hours later.
In Laax skiers will be based in the self-catered apart-hotel, rocksresort Design HotelTM which was voted the World’s Best Green Ski Hotel 2018 and in Davos the brand new for 2019/2020 ski-in Parsenn Resort in the heart of the village.
In keeping with both destinations dedication to sustainable travel (Laax Greenstyle initiative), the CO2 generated per skier by the trip will be carbon offset in partnership with myclimate.
“The main aim of the two resorts is to offer high comfort and convenience in a unique offer” a spokesperson for The Ski Getaway. Reinvented said, adding, “Many travellers experience exhausting travels to their mountain destinations or fail to book the right services. With this offer, a comfortable solution should be created that makes ski travel unique and simple again!”
