The unique Ski and Golf World Championships return to Zell am See-Kaprun from Wednesday 8th to Saturday 11th May, 2019.
The Championships begin with a skiing competition on the Kitzsteinhorn glacier above Kaprun on the Thursday 9th May, followed by golf competitions on the two courses by Zell am See-Kaprun over the following two days.
“The results from both competitions are counted together – so you’ve no chance if you are only good in one of the disciplines,” a resort spokesperson said.
The Championships are open to all and competitors can take part in various classes including: Elite, Juniors, Ladies and Masters.
In past years famous sports people have taken part in the event including Bode Miller, Thomas Sykora, Björn Einar Romören, Reinfried Herbst, Kalle Palander and Werner Franz.
