Three-time Olympic gold medal winning snowboarder Shaun White is to bring the Air + Style competition to The Domain in Sydney, Australia from August 3rd – 5th. The event involves 60 of the top male and female snowboarders and skiers competing, with music at the event be provided by Flo Rida and Snow Patrol.
The competition takes place on a 16 storey-high, 135 metre-long ramp covered with 850 tonnes of snow which will be supplied by Bells Pure Ice.
“Sydney is such a perfect place because down here everyone is so into athletics and sports, which supports snowboarding and skating, and there is also such a big music scene and fashion scene here,” White told Fairfax Media from Sydney.
