Britain’s Dave Ryding has scored a second podium in two months taking second at today’s World Cup slalom in Garmisch-Partenkirchen following his win at Kitzbühel last month.
Ryding was lying in 19th place after his first run but moved up to lead after a superb second run, only overtaken in the end by Norway’s Henrik Kristoffersen taking his 25th World Cup win.
The other 17 skiers above Ryding after his first run failing to match his time or skied out.
It’s Ryding’s fifth podium, adding to his win last month, a previous second and two third place results. Dave is now fourth in the World Cup slalom table.
