Mum, Karen, and daughter Emily’s brainwave was reversible ski suits! After perfecting their product, they’ve called their company Viridis.
“As avid skiers ourselves, we noticed a gap in the market for versatile, reversible ski wear that allows skiers to easily switch up their style on the slopes. We also wanted to make a positive difference in the ski community by offering sustainable, high-quality gear that stands out,” said Virdis co-founder Emily-Molly Green, adding, “We decided to merge family, passion for skiing, and sustainability into a business that encourages women to enjoy the slopes in style!”

“Our business was born on one of our cherished family ski holidays, which have been a tradition for as long as we can remember. That simple idea sparked a much deeper exploration into creating something truly unique?” said Emily, continuing,
“At the time, both my mum and I were working as tax accountants in different cities, so we spent our evenings and weekends on Skype, meticulously refining our designs and business plan. It wasn’t an easy process – we went through multiple failed samples before finally creating the suit we’d envisioned, and that’s how ‘The Piste Collection’ came to life.”
“Together, with our combined brainpower, we set out to design a ski suit that wasn’t just about bold, retro-inspired patterns and feminine fits, but also offered the ultimate versatility – an all-in-one ski suit that’s really two-in-one,” Emily concludes.
There are currently four different Viridis suits to choose from in their Piste Collection, each fully reversible, allowing you to switch between two vibrant looks with ease.

“Our close bond, shared love of skiing and desire to protect the environment are at the heart of our business,” says Emily.
