The traditional French ski resort of Samoëns is offering visitors the chance to rent a unique mobile sauna this winter and park it near go their accommodation, whenever possible.
“Bastu74” is a mobile sauna that has been designed and built in the local Giffre valley from exquisite red cedar wood. Powered by a wood stove, the sauna operates entirely independently.
Fully mobile, it travels throughout the Giffre Valley and can be used either privately or in a shared version.
“Don’t forget to book it, especially after a cold-water swim!” a Samoëns spokesperson said.
Samoëns is ideally situated in the heart of the vast Grand Massif ski area, one of the largest ski resorts in the French Alps. It is an unspoilt, authentic family-friendly resort where children aged under 8 (and adults aged over 75) are entitled to free ski passes.
