Easter is a special time in Slovakia with many unique traditions and fun events. Jasna is no exception to this and now is the time to take advantage of good, late season snow conditions and finish your season in style with some great accommodation offers.

All Tatry Mountain Resorts hotels are offering 20% off on all stays from 28th March onwards along with a free lift pass. Participating hotels include the slope-side Grand Hotel Jasna, Hotel Srdiečko and Chalets Jasna Deluxe; Slovakia’s first Feng Shui hotel, the Tri Studnicky as well as family favourites, Holiday Village Tatralandia and Hotel Besenova, both of which boast on-site water parks. One special option is to stay in one of the only three rooms in the Hotel Rotunda, which is the highest hotel in Slovakia and is situated right on the top of the mountain in Jasna, ensuring great views and first tracks. Just enter SNOW1 when booking for all hotels.

As the season draws to an end, Jasna will be hosting a series of fun events including Bikini Skiing and the 4th annual Easter Pineapple Harvest. Bikini Skiing day is the centrepiece of Jasna’s on-mountain Easter celebrations with live music, entertainment and an after party at the base of the slopes until the early hours.

Anyone can get involved with the celebrations but if you are looking for something to entertain the younger members of the family then make your way to the Tatralandia Aqua Park for an Easter egg hunt with a difference. Rather than Easter eggs the search will be on to pick pineapples around the grounds. Families will also be able to benefit from 10% off stays in the Tatralandia Holiday Park throughout Easter.

Winter 2016-17

If your thoughts are already turning to summer, then why not consider Jasna for a ski holiday next season. As Slovakia’s largest ski area, Jasna is a state of the art ski resort accessible at infinitely better value than most alpine ski resorts with meals on the mountain available from €5 and drinks from €1. With 49km of groomed slopes, 12 freeride zones and only a 45-minute transfer to the airport, Jasna provides a perfect destination for families and freeriders alike.

If you are a freeride fan why not plans your holiday around the Freeride World Tour Qualifying Event which will take place at the end of February or beginning of March. Check out the lines the pros took this season and explore your own in the lift accessed and patrolled freeride zones. Alternatively, if you want to feel the thrill of skiing on a World Cup piste you can do this in Jasna at any time after the resort hosted a World Cup women’s slalom and GS in 2016.
