Popular British ski wear brand Planks are set to launch a new crowdfunding campaign, the “Powder Days Raise”, giving skiers a chance to own their very own piece of this rapidly growing company.
They say this initiative will give their community a chance to “invest in the future of skiing” and hope that by encouraging their community to become shareholders in the business, customers will become true brand advocates and a crucial part of the Planks brand.
From humble beginnings selling t-shirts and beanies from a van in a Val d’Isère car park in 2008, Planks are now an internationally recognised brand, with a worldwide customer base sharing their love for adventure and the mountains. Just look around next time you hit the slopes and we’re sure you’ll see at least one Planks outfit!
As a result, the company are now gearing up to grow even larger by opening an investment round to the public, allowing the ski community the opportunity to become a shareholder and own a part of the future of this exciting British brand.
