Along with the February half term it’s one of the busiest weeks of the season and this December the Alps are looking the snowiest they have for quite a few years, but there are still ski holidays available for the week commencing Saturday 30th, meaning that you could be in resort for New Year’s Eve.
“With the fantastic snow conditions most of the French Alps resorts have had since the beginning of December, last minute bookings have been extremely strong for the week commencing 30th December. Interestingly the French market has mostly favoured the previous week (starting 23rd December) this year, and therefore there is still some limited availability for the New Year week,” said Xavier Schouller, boss of French ski holiday specialists Peak Retreats.
Ski Beat also still have deals on offer (some of them listed below). Their Sales and marketing Director Laura Hazell confirmed.
“For those who can ski at short notice, Ski Beat has some great savings for departures on 30th December, where our ski chalets provide a great base from which to enjoy the New Year parties, live bands, fireworks and DJ sets in resorts across the French Alps.”
“We do have a few holidays left for New Year (departures on 30/12), some with last-minute discounts, but only apartments, the chalets are SOLD OUT,” said Robert Dixon of SkiWorld.
