The operators of the Chill Factore indoor snow centre (who also run The Snow Centre in Hemel Hempstead) have announced that they’re going to run a ‘Northern Snow Show’ at the venue near Manchester this October.
Referring to the decision to axe the Birmingham NEC show “When we heard there would only be one Snow Show in London in 2024, we decided that we should make sure the rest of the country had opportunity to get their winter sports fix. We’re creating something new here, building a community of enthusiasts and a network of dedicated brands,” John Robinson, Head of Marketing for Chill Factore and The Snow Centre commented.
The Northern Snow Show will take place on 5th and 6th October 2024, with free admission, and will, the organisers say, “…showcase the finest selection of Snowsports and lifestyle brands against the backdrop of real snow on the UK’s longest indoor slope. Alongside Chill Factore and The Snow Centre, dedicated winter sports brands and Snowsports organisations will come together to offer an unforgettable experience.”
Visitors to Northern Snow will have the opportunity to:
- Experience equipment testing from leading brands.
- Engage in a host of talks led by industry professionals
- Talk to and get great deals from leading Snowsports brands
- Get on the snow with discounted Ski and Snowboard Lift Passes
- Get started with discounted Group Ski and Snowboard Lessons
- Get the experience with discounted Family Snow Fun activities on Snow Park
“We are incredibly excited to introduce Northern Snow to the North of England,” said Ian Brown, Managing Director of Chill Factore and The Snow Centre. “This event is not just another Snowsports Show; it’s an experience on real snow, making Chill Factore the natural home for such an exciting event. We’ve also received incredible support from industry colleagues and brands, further reinforcing our confidence that Northern Snow will swiftly carve its place as a must-attend event in the Snowsports annual calendar.”
“Snowsports has a huge following in the North of the UK, just ask any of our passionate Chill Factore guests!” John Robinson added, concluding, “It won’t be the biggest UK show this year, but we believe it will be the best. Something new, exciting, and a bit special for guests and dedicated Snowsports brands alike.”
