(nearing completion)
A new après ski hot spot for Val d’ d’Isère is nearing completion in readiness for the season.
The centrally located Cocorico Bar will feature live musicians, DJs and will offer a fusion of Austrian-style après ski and Val d’Isère’s traditional vibe, bringing a new feel to the resort centre, say its owners.
“With a mix of live music, hot DJs and a unique blend of people, the large venue and terrace will attract the resorts finest, catering to everyone from hipsters to hippies,” said a statement on behalf of owners the resort’s popular Doudoune Club.
The Cocorico Bar is located right at the foot of Solaise and the Face de Bellevarde, so provides spectacular views and an easy to access ski‐in/ski‐out terrace.
“Skiers and snowboarders are passionate people, so Cocorico aims to provide a passionate place to meet, party and have a good time!” said the new bar’s manager, Victor.
Live energetic Rock ‘n’ Roll acts, resident DJ Phil Garner and international guest appearances are promised along with classic sing‐alongs and disco‐favourites. The bar will open on December 12th, just before the World Cup rolls in to town. Table bookings are already being taken:
