Whether you’re a seasoned skier or planning for your first ever ski trip, the National Snow Show looks set to be the ultimate day out for anyone who loves the mountains.
What’s On
With the huge NEC Birmingham at their fingertips, the National Snow Show is able to host a number of different stages across the event, all with their own unique entertainment, educational events and activities to try.
Most exciting perhaps, is the news that one of the UK’s most popular snow experiences, SnowDome, will be sponsoring an epic indoor slope and providing expert coaching to the more than 15,000 visitors expected at the show.
The SnowDome slope will be hosting Park & Pipe style sessions throughout the day where you can watch the UK’s best athletes showcase their skills.
“We are thrilled to be a part of this years brand new National Snow Show! It’s a huge passion of ours to give newcomers an opportunity to give it a go and experience the fun of winter sports!”. Tim Carter – Director, SnowDome.
For more activity, an on-site skate mini ramp in partnership with Graystone Action Sports will give you an opportunity to get a few expert tips yourself and is sure to be a hit with younger visitors!
At the Shred & Butta stage, you’ll find practical demos and brand interactions, or, for a more chilled out vibe, you can pop over to the Riders’ Lounge and rub shoulders with your favourite British athletes – both past and present!
Alongside these stages, visitors can explore well equipped retail, destination and tour operator exhibition areas, getting all the latest expert advice.
Of course, this is all thirsty work! To keep you hydrated, the National Snow Show has created its very own Après bar to ensure you can catch up on all the day’s fun over a warming mulled wine or ice cold pint or two!
The National Snow Show is making it their mission to inspire all visitors- including those who have never set foot on a slope before. As such, they will be providing a taste of snowsports through a series of workshops, skills sessions, dry slope sessions, as well as a mini league for university students to pitch their skills against each other to be in with a chance to win £500 to spend at the show.
