Ischgl’s long winter season finally ended at the weekend with its annual dynamic finale that included a big mountain top concert.
A 14,000 crowd rocking to the award-winning sounds of UK band Muse, who were suitably attired in retro ski gear. The band not only have two Grammy awards for best rock album, but are reputed to also be accomplished skiers and boarders.
The trio played on the mountain top stage at 2,300m in brilliant sunshine against the snowy backdrop of the Silvretta mountain range of the Alps in Tirol, Austria.
Ischgl has already announced that the Top Of The Mountain opening concert to launch the 16-17 season on Saturday 26 November 2016 will be German band PUR.
