The Austrian ski resort Mayrhofen is installing an innovative 10-passenger gondola lift with three stations this winter.
The new Möslbahn will transport about 2000 people per hour and is aimed at providing access to the mountainside between the village of Mösl at Hochschwendberg and Mountain Penken. The modern Doppelmayr D-Line lift is designed for maximum, comfort and a smooth ride.
In addition to the new cable car the resort will be creating a new red graded slope (no. 16).
Initial work on preparing sites for the new lift began last autumn with official permissions granted in February and the lift scheduled to open in December 2018.
