Non-Skiing Activities

Back to La Plagne

There are plenty of activities and options for non-skiers in La Plagne, from snowshoeing to stunning spas, spending the night in a piste basher or taking on an Olympic Bobsleigh run! Read on to find out more…

A New Adventure

There’s so much you can try in La Plagne. Ever wanted to spend the night in a luxury piste basher? No? Well you will once you see this one, complete with a mini-bar, home cinema TV, double bed, heating and a spectacular panoramic view!

Other adventures available include climbing the 24 metres high Ice Tower (complete beginners welcome!), driving in a Swincar (electric all terrain mountain buggy), snowshoeing with a sophrologist, tobogganing, paragliding, winter walking and more!

This winter, you can also try moonbiking. Three times lighter than a skidoo, moonbikes  are extremely simple and easy to drive and offer an exhilarating experience in the Alpine air.

There’s also the chance to try snowshoeing with dogs or Colorado luge – a 1.5 km descent through a canyon on a sled or a Snooc, great fun for adults or teens.

Or, build an igloo from scratch! This fun team-building activity teaches you how to build a real life size igloo with instruction from a true expert! It’s a great experience for families and friends and you will end up with your very own mountain shelter. Costs from €30 / £26 pp. Group size six plus, minimum age 5.

Take on Bobsleigh

There aren’t many resorts where you can get just as much adrenaline (if not more) off the slopes as on them!

The La Plagne Bobsleigh, used in the 1992 Olympic Games, is a must-do for those wanting to add a bit of extra adventure to their winter holiday.

Sitting just below Plagne Centre, the 1.5 km track, with 19 G-Force turns, is open to guests, who can choose whether to slide down on a Bob Raft, a Speed Luge or the typical Bobsleigh…

Relax and Rejuvinate

In La Plagne, your skiing comes with a side of serious tranquility. Think hammams, nordic baths, saunas and a range of specialised treatments, perfect for pampering those tired legs after a day on the slopes.

The Deep Nature Premium Spa is a wonderful 1500m2 wellness area, in the hearth of Belle Plagne resort. Open to everyone the spa blends perfectly into the mountain landscape offering wonderful views while you drift away. Deep Nature  offers a complete range of face and body treatments and massages. Part of the Spa is reserved for adults but there’s also a 170m2 Family Area and specific spa treatments available especially for children.
