Jet2.com has launched its ski flights programme for 2016/17 with an expanded programme of 47 weekly flights operating to Barcelona (Pyrenees), Geneva, Grenoble, Lyon, Salzburg, Turin, Verona and, new for next season, Sofia for Bulgarian ski areas.
In total, Jet2 says, more than 230,000 seats will be available, a 50 per cent increase on last season. Plus there’s on key routes including Geneva and Grenoble, with more week day flights.
Key programme developments include more flights from Edinburgh to Geneva and new Sunday flights to Salzburg and Verona.
From East Midlands there are two new routes to Grenoble and Salzburg plus four weekly flights to Geneva.
From Glasgow there are two new destinations, Geneva and Grenoble, with three flights per week. The airline has also announced a partnership with local snow centre Snow Factor meaning Jet2 passengers are able to get 20% off Snow Factor ski passes.
From Leeds Bradford Jet2.com will become the largest ski operator offering 10 flights a week, including six weekly flights to Geneva and new destination Grenoble.
From Manchester there’s a choice of 20 weekly flights to seven ski destinations, including to new choice Sofia, plus eight weekly flights to Geneva for the first time.
From Newcastle there’s a new destination choice, Grenoble.
