Italy has enjoyed quite a snowy week with heavy falls in the Piemonte region in the west at the end of last week, followed by more widespread snowfall across much of the country at the start of this week.
The Dolomites received 10-30cm of snow over the past five days.
Bases are great with an increasing number of resorts passing the 4m mark after the latest snow. Cervinia is one of the few resorts in the world to post that the snow is lying 2.1m (seven feet) deep there.
Is there a better way of finishing the day than enjoying the last aperitivo by admiring the sunset and carving on the last descent? The decision is up to you??#dolomitisuperski #endlessfun #fallinlove Carezza Ski

With another two months of the season to go there, it has 3.8m up top so should be good through to late spring if it wants to extend beyond its usual start of May closing, even if it doesn’t snow again between now and then.
Most Italian resorts currently have sunny conditions again but more snow is forecast, particularly in the West again, over the next few days.
