Skiers heading to the Interlaken Holiday Region in Switzerland have an unusual new attraction to enjoy this winter.
The new Hot Tug – a wood-fired hot tub on an electricity-powered boat – will be setting sail on Lake Brienz this winter!
The boat’s on board hot tub is heated to 38 degrees Celsius by a wood fuelled boiler and the boat itself can be steered by the hot tub’s temporary captain after a brief instruction course.
Up to 6 people can sail in the hot tug, but the captain must be at least 18 years old. Prices start from 180 Francs per sailing.
Brienz is located next to the small but perfectly-formed ski area of Axalp, 20 minutes from Interlaken, itself located near famous resorts like Grindelwald, Murren and Wengen.
