Vsually-impaired skier Jade Etherington has become the most successful ever British Paralympic skier and also the most successful British women in Winter Paralympic history after winning her fourth medal at the Sochi Paralympics earlier today with the aid of her guide Caroline Powell.

Etherington took silver in the super combined to add to her downhill and slalom silvers and bronze in the super G.

She breaks a record of three silvers set at the 1984 Innsbruck Paralympics by Denise Smith, in the ice sledge speed racing event.

Jade and Caroline have the chance to win a fifth medal in their final event, the giant slalom, on Sunday.
