A company that specialises in providing passenger vans for rock and pop bands, which it also allows anyone top hire to drive to the Alps in winter, is expanding its selection of vehicles for skiers and boarders to rent for the upcoming winter.
Vans For Bands have a fleet of over 70 vehicles and transport thousands of bands each year. The back of the vans are equipped with two facing rows of three comfortable and spacious seats. Between them is a table for card games and a multimedia system with two large screens, so everyone gets a good view the movie.

In fact the carbon footprint for nine people travelling works out at just one-quarter of the emissions generated if the group took flights, according to calculations by Ski Flight Free.
Plus, there is more luggage space than you’ll ever need for a ski holiday as the ‘boot’ is massive, having been designed to fit huge drum kits and speaker systems.
Prices are lowest in the early part of the season, with vans costing from just £1020 for a week in December or January, only increasing slightly to £1224 in March and April. Although higher in peak periods it still usually works out cheaer per person for a group than flight or rail costs, even with Eurotunnel, toll fees and diesel added in.
Vans For Bands is also offering an early booking discount of 10% for anyone who books a van before 31 November 2024.
All vans are supplied with inclusive European breakdown cover & insurance, winter tyres and snow chains. Collection is from their depot in Oxford, or for an additional fee, the van can be delivered to your door.
