Volkl Kenja 2018 Ski Review

The Volkl Kenja 2018 is an extremely fun all mountain ski that performs well all over the mountain. Versatile, reliable and playful, it’s a great ski for an advanced skier looking to develop their skills this winter.

The Volkl Kenja is almost effortless to ride, it is nice and easy to turn and has a great edge hold which really inspires confidence. On the piste, you can really enjoy yourself without having to worry about your stability underfoot. Quick edge to edge, this ski gives a smooth, enjoyable experience regardless of conditions.

Off piste, the 90mm waist and tip and tail rocker keep the Kenja stable and easily manoeuvrable enough across more varied terrains. We found its responsiveness very helpful in keeping you confident no matter what situation you find yourself in!

The only downside we can mention of the Volkl Kenja is that perhaps the tail is a little soft so washes out in the end of the turn if you are travelling at high speeds.

The Volkl Kenja would be a fantastic ski choice for someone who enjoys cruising and staying at medium to low speeds. For a more aggressive skier looking for an all mountain ski that will be an adventurous companion across terrains, this ski might not be the best option. However, it would be a lot of fun for an intermediate to advanced skier who prefers to stick to the piste and really enjoys the sensation of nice, carving turns.
