Our Volkl Kanjo 2019 Ski Review comes from the SIGB Ski Test in Galtür, Austria. New last season, the Kanjo has proved a solid addition to Volkl’s freeski range.

This is a very lively ski with a lot of pop, which makes transitions across terrains super smooth and easy. You don’t have to think too much about where you’re going on the Kanjo 2019 and you really can feel confident knowing it will support you no matter what.

Volkl have inserted a Titanal band through the centre of this ski, giving it a huge amount of torsional stiffness and a stability that you really appreciate off piste and through more tricky terrain.

With an all mountain profile and tip and tail rockers, powder days are a lot of fun, but don’t be fooled – this is a ski that does not compromise on piste performance. On groomed runs it holds an edge very nicely and gives you a lively yet smooth ride.

Volkl describe the Kanjo as “the perfect on-piste ski for off-piste skiers who dig on-piste skiing but never want to be considered as on-piste skiers” and the 2019 version certainly lives up to this definition.

The Volkl Kanjo 2019 is a great choice for intermediate skiers looking for a ski on which they can really push themselves and develop their skills across all terrains and in all conditions.
