Volkl Kanjo 2018 Ski Review

The Volkl Kanjo is a new option for 2018 that really completes the Volkl all mountain range. A more playful, less powerful but no less energetic ski than previous all mountain Volkl skis, the Kanjo really is a great choice for the fun-loving, adventurous skier.

This ski feels refreshingly light underfoot, which combined with a quick responsiveness, makes it a pleasure to ski both on and off piste. The Kanjo’s impressive edge hold makes carving feel easy, and the wood core with Titanal band keeps it feeling delightfully smooth and stable on the piste regardless of speed. Lightweight and agile, this ski just loves to have fun.

It’s also very stable and supportive, a great base on which to build confidence and skill. No matter the terrain, the Volkl Kanjo will be ready and willing to do your bidding. The 84mm waist and tapered tip and tail allow the Kanjo to surf nicely across powder, while it still retains enough of the classic Volkl power to pack a punch through crud and bumps.

The Volkl Kanjo is a true intermediate ski that is really easy to use and very forgiving and complimentary. It will be a great ride for an intermediate skier looking for playful versatility across the mountain this season.
