The new Völkl 90Eight Womans Skis, a fresh new model with a 98 mm waist and Völkl’s new 3D Ridge construction. 3D Ridge leaves the ski thick in the middle and under the boot, but slashes mass along the edges both ahead and behind the boot. The result is a drastically sculptured shape (kind of like an F1 car) that results in a lighter and more responsive ski that can still hold an edge and feels solid at speed. Proof that it works is evidenced by Völkl’s using 3D Ridge on all of their new light skis, including the V-Werks and VTA skis.
