This uvex Lens Review comes from ISPO 2018, where we were fascinated by the demonstration of these ‘unbreakable’ lenses.
uvex goggle lenses are packed full of technologies, all of which are sure to be very popular on the slopes for the coming season. In particular, these lenses are break-resistant and distortion free, extremely useful functions when on the slopes.
The break-resistant guarantee maximum protection for the eyes at all times, with specially manufactured polycarbonate lenses, which not only fulfill the standard for ski goggles, but even the safety standard of safety goggles. In the uvex testing center, all lenses are subjected to extensive tests which show that they even withstand the bullet test with 6mm steel balls at a speed of 162 km/h. No splinters, no breakage and maximum protection.
