In a break with tradition for the company, the new Legend Big Dump skis from Dynastar have been designed for big powder enthusiasts. “At Dynastar we made an exception to our rule with this model, but as a specialty brand we couldn’t ignore the lucky riders who travel around the planet all year round hunting down the best possible powder and who therefore require an ultra-specific technical product. The numbers 140-120-130 just about say it all!” an excited Dynastar spokesman told InTheSnow. The complete Legend technology, with a wood-Titanal core and full-length sidewalls, combined with a very progressive rocker tip (300 mm) that allows skiers, with optimum planning and maximum terrain absorption, to literally float on top of the snow while still maintaining the personality of the ski – fluid, powerful, high-performance. In short the ski has been created by the specialty brand to respond to an expected small but extremely prestigious demand, spearheaded by Aurélien Ducroz, current World Champion and the brand’s permanent advisor for the Legend skis.
